Good Mornings

Standing at the window today, saw 3 of these (the fan-tailed flycatchers) flitting about besides the usual quota of crows, pigeons, egrets, kites, parakeets and mynahs. The book says they are common, but it was the first time I’ve seen them and been able to figure out name. Thrilling.

  1. In Bombay? Wow! Btw, if you are interested in ornithology, there is a Natural History chapter in your side of the town, my firend Prakash and his wife are avid bird watchers and they are members of some society and go bird watching pretty often.

    Cheerio!
ps: Next year between Jan-March, check out the pink flamingoes in Sewri. Beautiful.
