A couple of weeks of being like this… sick and sorry for self. The sum of the two added up to a constant sick of work quotient though.

Making up these graphs instead of neat little ones about home loan probabilties of default. Evil Me.

And an evil me, clearly needs music to suit.

A Case of …

Definitely A Case of it. If I get thrown out of the apartment it will be because the neighbours can’t stand it anymore… Me caterwauling, brain thinking it sounds (almost) like Joni Mitchell.

Vive Le Roi

September 24, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Am told this one has something to do with Louis XVI and the French Revolution. Don’t quite see how but I still like.

This is one consolation in the prison. For another, on break, looking out of the window here’s what I see. The prison window offers a panoramic view of balconies of all flats in Maker Tower ABCD Wings. There is a little sliver of ocean in the far left of that view,  but that is not relevant here.

On one of these balconies is a stair-master. Kid in school uniform playing game on it.  Game consists of jumping up and down, making the handles move and attempting to hit said handles with badminton racket.

Felt sad. Such games should have company.

Next jump was to relief. Atleast I am past childhood.

Rock On!

August 28, 2008 · 1 Comment

The Question: Can Farhan Akhtar sing?

The Answer: With that oozing attitude voice, who cares?!

Rock On!

Rock On!

While baby Akhtar is getting the full thumbs up, i’m trying to grow fresh ones so that daddy akhtar can be given a sufficient number of thumbs down for Socha Hai and the Peele Snakes numbers. Stick to writing romantic balads sirji… rock is not your scene.

Beating the Blues

August 11, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Its easy to feel down on rainy days. If trying to stay dry that is. Give in, get wet and then its ‘cholegache’  for the blues :-) . And with Sugababes added to the mix… even my angsty inner teen got happy!
